Important Information
Zermatt is located in a car-free zone. Access by private car is only permitted as far as the village of Täsch. Information on available ways to get to the city can be found on the city's official website. Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Switzerland hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. Front desk opening hours 07:00 - 22:00. If the guests arrive after 10:00 PM, they should notify the hotel in advance and receive check-in instructions. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Zermatt is in a car-free zone and can be reached only by train. The Alpenhof Zermatt will be closing 20 Alpine Chic rooms for renovations from 22nd September to mid-December 2025. No guests will be accommodated in this area during the works. Scaffolding will be visible on the facade, and while there may be light noise disturbance between 09:00 AM and 06:00 PM, it is expected to be minimal. Please note that the restaurant, spa, and bar will remain fully operational throughout the renovation period.
